The co-chairmen were Kgao Legodi, Vice President of International Council of Ophthalmology (ICO) and President of African Ophthalmology Council (AOC) and John Nkurikiye, President of Rwanda Ophthalmology Society.
The main topic of this Summit was to discuss the ways to continously band together for facing the severe situation in the prevention and control of blindness in Africa.
Our Sales&Marketing Manager, Mr. Davide Maddalozzo had the chance to spoke during this Summit giving a lecture about “Demonstration of Intelligent Medical Equipment”. Adaptica’s equipments can really make the difference, especially in a Continent like Africa where, thanks to the portability of our devices, also people in remote villages can have access to Eye Care Screenings.
Our goal is to provide Eye Care Specialists with the best instruments to perform accurate exams in order to detect and correct eye defects to everyone, everywhere.
We are so proud to take part to this type of events and initiatives. Together we can make the difference!
